50th Anniversary of 1958 Munich Air Disaster

The Munich air disaster took place on February 6, 1958, when British European Airways Flight 609 crashed on its third attempt to takeoff from a slush-covered runway at the Munich-Riem airport in Munich, West Germany. On board the plane was the Manchester United football team, nicknamed the Busby Babes, along with a number of supporters and journalists. Twenty-three of the 44 passengers on board the aircraft died in the disaster.

The European Cup had been contested since 1955, although no English club took part in the very first tournament on account of Football League rules. Manchester United entered the 1956-57 tournament and reached the semi-finals, being knocked out by eventual winners Real Madrid; they were thus one of the favourites for the 1957-58 tournament. Domestic league matches were played on Saturdays and European matches were played midweek, so although air travel was risky at the time, it was the only practical choice if United were to fulfil their league fixtures. Their team was known as the Busby Babes, a reference to their manager Matt Busby and to the average age of the players, which was unusually young.

Seven of Manchester United's players died immediately, and Duncan Edwards died from his injuries on 21 February. Two other players had to retire because of their injuries. Matt Busby was seriously injured and had to stay in hospital for some time after the crash, and was read his last rites twice. There was speculation that the club would fold, but a threadbare United team completed the 1957-1958 season, with United's coach Jimmy Murphy standing in as manager.A team largely made up of reserves and youth team players beat Sheffield Wednesday 3--0 in the first match after the disaster. The programme for that match showed simply a blank space where each United player's name should have been.

Although the team's league results were poor they reached the final of the FA Cup, losing 2--0 to Bolton Wanderers. Busby resumed managerial duties the following season and eventually built a second generation of Busby Babes, including George Best and Denis Law, that went on to win the European Cup a decade after the disaster in 1968, beating Benfica. Crash survivors Bobby Charlton and Bill Foulkes were two of the other players who lined up in that team.

Hiatus.. hiatus...
Something that has been going on all the while in this blog...
Well..again.. I'm back...

All I could say is that a mix of great and unfortunate events happened in these days...
Good points to highlight...
My KL outing with my station rota mates on the 17th Aug....
Something that I didn want to give a miss..
So that I wont find my ns life a waste of time...
Looking forward to the next coming trips..

My family just bought a car...
Woohoo... Can drive to work...
Means I wont have to fork out money for transportation fares..
going to work n trainings from now on...

Unfortunate ones...
My maternal grandfather at kampung passed away on the 5th Aug....
At the age of 84...
Something that really shocked me...
Since all the while.. my late grandpa has been very healthy n fit when still alive..
Perhaps.. it was time for him to go....
Somehow.. feel very bitter since it was in last April that I last talked to him...
when he n grandma visited us in Singapore...
Since then.... never got to see him again till his death...
But consolation for me... At least I got the chance..
to get involved in ritual washing of his body during funeral...

For my working life in station...
I realised how tiring is the work stress...
Station life can be fun.. flexible...
But the stress of it at some aspects... can be a killing one...
Perhaps...I may just take back my old words...

This is life... ups and downs...
When I have been at the critical point most of the time....
How I realised the importance of some people in my life...
The influence behind me that I'm able to pick up immediately after any debacle...
I'm not saying that I cant stand on my own...
But at times... U cant take ppl for granted..
If not becoz of these certain ppl....u wont go far and achieve wat u have done...

Sallehan out of PSK?
Why? Shocked?
Well.. this had happened yesterday...
Such a curse anyway...
to have been drawn against my own national team-mate, Wan, in the prelims..
when actually we should have met in the final instead..
to have come back strongly and bash him up in the 2nd n 3rd round...
and to most ppl surprise, I've lost the game...

This really hurts me alot especially..
I have badly wanted to make comeback in this PSK..aiming for the elusive gold..
after all those hardwork to shed alot of kilos to play in my pet category..

I dunnow wether this loss would mean..
another loss for me in holding the place in the coming Sijori team next month..
After all, I was selected ahead of him for Class A..

I think the match was the one that I really played like a bull...
pushing him out of the ring...

To look at the bright side..
I think I may be goin thru what some experienced players faced...
Those ppl like Yazid..Shakir..Eqyn and few others..
Having high chances to go far but end up drawn against very strong opponents first in the draw.. and came home empty-handed..
But they bounced back and achieved recent success..
Will I follow the same traces just like them?

Most ppl rallied behind me after the loss..
Abg Im..Encik Lan..My selayang team-mates..those parents..
Even those familiar faces in silat...
They had thought I shud have won the game clear cut..
But what to do.. results already out..
Anw.. Thankz ppl..

I knoe.. my reputation has tarnished..
Its a matter of time before I gained the respect back..

Done with selections at PERSISI during the weekend...
Lost..
But I'm not really disappointed either..
Looking at the bright side..
I have National Championships to look forward to up next month..
So I may use the selections as final tune up for that..
Last year PSK.. bronze...
This time ard.. I'm aiming for gold...

Talking abt fight.. ppl said i have improved alot.. gave a decent fight..
Although Abg Fili did point out my major weaknesses..
which i'm goin to work on these comin days..
Its not easy since I had hard time to come down trainings regularly..
The fatigue..the focus..
at the same time.. I hav to think abt shedding my weight ard 5 kilos..
which indeed happened.. Alhamdulillah..

Feeling the pain at the neck after got punched at that area..
during my fight against Asad.. not his fault anyway..
Anyway these things happened accidentally..
Now recovering although i'm having hard time to talk properly rite now..

Yeah.. after the three years without league title..
Time for them to celebrate at Stamford Bridge tomoro nite..

I realised now that I have to buck up...
to rediscover the best form I had last year...
Now.. I look very very far below my best..
Tak leh jadi ni...Damn..

which was on Sunday.. my duty day during that time..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AYAH!!
Now he's 55..
Dad will be retiring soon...
Seems that me and my sis will be the breadwinners soon...
Now..considering long term options.. for a full time career..

Salammalas II . May Day

Went to watch "Salammalas II" in NP Convention Centre on Sat..
together with my MCC seniors..
The first ever musical production organised by MCC..
A well-taken performance by the people involved on stage..
People feedback that they could hardly understand the story line,
which was being acted out by the drama casts..
Like what we were told, it takes two years to understand..
Biar betul sak.. haha..

PSK coming.. Selctions for World Champs also coming..
Have to shed ard 4 kg this month..
to make sure that I m safe playing in Class A..45-50kg..

Time flies so fast that i dun even realise..
we have entered the month of May..
Both my dad n bro gonna celebrate their bdays this mth..
hahaha..

Man U beat AC Milan 3-2 in the first leg of Champions League semis.
that shud be called one of great European nights for Man U..
This is AC Milan..one of the European giants..
To win even with their entirely makeshift defence is awesome!!

Soccer aside.. Now.. my current life..
Forgive me if I dun get to update my blog for now..
As I have been tired after going back from 24 hr shift duty...
Two days off after the duty..is not two days long either..
First day off, u may just condemn urself to spending urself..
enjoying ur dreams in that much-needed sleep..
Well..looks like I have to revamp my free time schedule..

Station 44 has been awesome... The people there were great..
Fun to be working with them..

I realised that its not that easy to come down for trainings during NS..
even though u already settled with ur vocation..
Club training.. there are times..it clashes with my duty day...
National training.. I did came back for training after 6 mths of ERS...
However, the working schedule has made me lose abit of the appetite to go for it..
since i have been used to goin so regularly before my enlistment last year..

Back to uniform again...
Well.. had my first day in Bukit Batok Fire Station just now..
Had a good impression on the place..
A conducive one..

Gonna be in Rota 2..together with Zulhaidi and Glenn..
So..we will start work this coming Thurs..
follow by the 2 days off and work again..2 days off..
This cycle will continue till the end of my NS duration..
unless I choose to sign on..
Still considering options..

Wondering how's my other ERS colleagues are doing..
in respective stations..SRB and CDA..

Just to sum up..
Had my block leave last week..
Planned to go KL but some members have that prob with money..
Well..spend most of the time slacking.. did went out with frens too..
The evening was all spent in Bedok everyday..
where I made my comeback to national training...
This is a big challenge for me..
striving for success in two things..
performing at the best being section commander in the eyes of public..
fighting for placing in the national team for World Champ and SEA Games..

Well..the new challenge begins..
Time to protect the lives of citizens in the west side of Singapore..

Yeah..the game is over..
Finally could heave a huge sigh of relief...
After 6 months of rigorous training..
finally I passed out..
Alhamdulillah..
Never mind if I missed out on getting the best in PT award..
importantly, I managed to surpass the expectations..

Well.. people keep asking me..
why I keep stucked in camp for so long and not passed out..
Now I can look forward to my vocation for the rest of my NS duration..
Well..got posted to Bukit Batok Fire Station...Cool..

I would like to thank my 23rd ERS team mates and instructors..
for helping me alot throughout the 6 mths..
especially the times where they rallied behind me in those collapsible moments
It has been great working with you all..
and apologies if I had hurt any of you in any way..

For us..
taking the roles as section commanders in fire stations..
will be the new..daunting task ahead..
since we have to be at the best..discharging duties in the eyes of public..

For now.. time to relax and enjoy the break..

MCC AGM 07' was a success just now..
Look so simple but a good one...
The turnout...quite good..
Well.. to the newly elected main committee members,

I may not be that active in this club all this while..
But I have been observing much of this club..
Proud to say, MCC has progressed tremendously..

Honestly, this is the committee that has been the best..
in terms of how the organisation functions..

Back from Brunei on Sunday..
Nice adventure in OBBD there..
The Kayaking expedtion..
The jungle trekking expedition..
and the solo nite..
I may go there with some experience in OBS and other jungle trekking ex..
But tis is the trickiest challenge i went thru..
OBBD was great experience for me, being in the overseas..
At the end of the day, heavy price to pay...
Rashes badly hit me during the OBBD..
And as I was otw back to Spore, getting worse..

Got to watch President Cup finals..
Feeling uneasy..itched hre n there.. Agghh
Basically, planned to watch my SLP team mates n others in action..
Expected some best performances but more of mediocre..
Rifdi beat Sarhan in all SLP final..
Faizah lost to Syiqin..Cant comment coz both are the best at the moment..
Dinni shockingly lost wen I tot no one could get past her..
Ain didnt play her game as usual and lost in the final too..
Hasyer was a shadow of himself and lost to Yazid..

Well..congrats to the winners in this comp..

To be exact..its 2.35 early in the morning..
On Monday..
What am I doing here?
Well, its just that I'm allowed to book in at HTA later by 7.30 am..
together with my other ERS mates and officers from Home team..

Spending the week relaxing..
undergoing thru Home Team Basic Course..
Well.. a breath taking one..
releasing stress off my problems..
Nice to meet the new bunch of ppl..
from other Home Team departments..

Something we shud not forget..
On the Friday nite.. marked the new year in Islam..
To all muslims.. Salam muharram 1428H

It has been a good weekend spending time with peepz..
from different interests..
Spending the Fri nite at East Coast with my ERS team mates..
Felt so shagged after reaching home on the Sat morning..

And on Sunday, went to PERSISI..
the opening ceremony of PERSISI President Cup 2007..
Surprisingly, most of the national elite players will be playing..
Well.. this time ard, I will be playing in the different class category..
For the first time, playing in Class B (50-55kg)..
after all the while, being in the Class A powerpack..
I dun feel the pressure abt who I'm goin to face..
True to tell, for this comp, Class B is the Group of Death..
And I happened to be one of those ppl.. Haha..

The comp presents some kind of comeback to most of us in Selayang..
For instance..
Me and Sarhan being so busy with NS life.. being enlisted few mths back..
Aboy..Farhanie and Idris after a long lay off from competitions..

Well, speaking abt the comp..
After long period of months, I finally got to face to face with HER..
Honestly to admit, I'm kinda surprised..shocked to encounter this..
Well.. Got to watch her match
and from my point of view.. she had improved alot..
since the last time I saw her fight..
Basically, I have no doubts abt her doing very well in this sport..
I hope she's doing fine..very fine indeed..

A week into new year..
Anything exciting?
Just to recap what happened this weekend..

Friday..
The ERS Rota 2 squad went to Han River for makan2..
to celebrate the victory ERS achieved in Firemanship last Fri..
First time enjoying the dinner there..
Looked similar to Seoul Garden..
Thanks to my base personnels for treating us..

Saturday...
Went off to PERSISI in the afternoon for my national team briefing..
being informed abt the plans in 2007..
A long briefing by Abg Sheik, Abg Yat and other coaches...
then in the evening..
went to chalet at Downtown East..
organised by NPMSS..
Nice to meet my ex NP frens...
Well.. really enjoyed the food there..
Too bad, decided not to overnite there..
since I had to go off for my IPPT challenge next morning..

Today..
Home Team IPPT challenge..
Competing against the best of the best in Home Team..
Team CDA comprising of..
Me..Freddie..Zulhaidi..Ramesh..
Abg Hairul..Abg Ahmad..Abg Nizam and our Encik Zaidi..
It has been great to team up with them..
Being the only NSF in the team, i feel no pressure..
But my mentality when playing sports,
is that I hate losing..
Well..in the end.. we missed out narrowly on 3rd place..
just mere points away.. so close..
from achieving the piece of glory..
However, we shud be proud with what we had done..
I may not have got the medal but..
at least I beat my recent IPPT results..
One thing.. successfully clocked below 9 min for 2.4km run...
Next time.. who knows I can time below 8 min.. ahakz..
Well..I'm looking forward..
to these type of sporting events in the future..
playing under the colours of CD..

So here's my first entry of 2007..
by wishing u all readers Happy New Year 2007!!
Lets hope for the betterment in the new year..
bidding to accomplish the missions that are set..

:: 2006 ending..2007 coming ::

The last day of 2006 happened to be Aidiladha. Cool.
Like previous years, once again went to help out in Qurban..
Its a once-a year chance to get to do get involved..
in the slaughtering ritual of sheeps..
Tell u this, Qurban is always fun..

Year 2006 ending.. 2007 coming..
It has been ups and downs in 2006.
Ppl always hope that they will be better in the new year..
Lets see what will happen next year..

Let me recall the main highlights of 2006.

1) Silat. A thing that has keep my life much going, being so active and later on developed myself into someone that I dont expect to become. Like my life principle is to keep fit as always, I'm getting fitter and stronger than ever. A gold in IVP 2006 and a bronze in National Pencak Silat Championships (PSK) recapped the tremendous improvement and achievement, although I would always prefer to get gold in the latter. Then, getting a call-up to the national squad and since then, training with the likes of the world-class fighters in a bid to put myself in more greater heights in silat. Not to forget, creating the upset in Sijori selection trials in Sep where I defeated one of the experienced national pesilats. Well, it has been fun, great journey to be with my silat peepz, let it be NP Silat, Selayang Pandang or the national team. Thanks peepz for the big support..

2) Studies. Alhamdulillah, graduated in August. True, I repeated one semester but I managed to recover well in year 3 to save some blushes. It was the time when I got to know my strengths and weaknesses. I really enjoy my 3rd year compared to the first 2 years. I guess, its all due to my self-confidence. How I wish if I were to have that same attitude.

3) Lovelife. I used to be very close to this person, so close that I optimisticly thought that nothin bad would happen to both of us. Tragically, an unthinkable had happened and I had to come to terms with the fact that I had lost her. All the while then, this was the person, who I used to share much of my stories with than any other person. Those fairytale memories has nosedived into a tragic ending. Look back again, I still even dunnoe how I fell for her. Pelik tapi benar. Wadeva it is, I had moved on with my life so long..

4) New friends. Making alot of them, especially knowing the juniors in the MSS, MCC and NP Silat. Plus, new friends found in S.S.F and currently, NS..

Now, here's my resolutions in 2007:

1) Pass out as sergeant at the end of ERS course in March and get posted to fire station. I dun mind of the outcome anyway.
2) Continue to improve myself in silat. Conquering Class A category and consistently get selected to represent the country for overseas major competitions. And grab that elusive gold in PSK
3) To have great consistent stamina and great fitness.
4) Pass my driving licence in April.
5) Getting someone who one day, will be my lifetime partner.. (haha..tak dpt ah..)
6) Always bring the happiness to family, friends and the loved ones..

ERS.. 1-2 finish

Before I forget,
I wanna wish my Muslim peepz..
Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha..

11 weeks passed..
And I'm now a qualified firefighter...
13 more weeks to go.. passing out as section commander..
It has been a mentally tough journey being in ERS..

Well.. yesterday marked the new chapter in the history books'
when ERS finally captured the Firemanship trophy..
for the first time in history..
More sweet.. its a 1-2 finish..
I dun mind much which Rota will finish first or second..
As long as we the ERS got to grip the title finally..
All credits to the CA, DRCs, instructors and base personnels for the big help..
Not forgetting my team mates who helped me mentally..

Its over now and I could just try to free myself from the pressure..
as I'm venturing into the next 13 weeks of the course..
It has been a rocky start for me and I hope to bounce back..
to finish the course on winning note..
History shows that in things that I'm doing..
I tend to start sloppily but in the end recovered well..
Will it happen the same to my current life now?

Coming up next, the Home Team IPPT Challenge..
My ERS batch was chosen to represent CD ..
For me to be selected in the team is an honour..
Still, the only NSF apart from the regulars and DART personnels..
Chance for me to shine in something that I'm good at..
Well.. I can take this as a platform..
for me to improve much better on my IPPT scores..

Year 2006 will come to an end, making way for 2007..
Well.. gonna catch u guys again tomorrow..

The Best of the Best was a spectacular one..
pitting the fighters from Seligi Tunggal Angkatan and Grasio..
Who to support.. well I'm neutral..
After all, they are my team-mates in national team, whom I learnt alot from..
In the end, STA won 3-2 in the best of five matches.
The timing of each match should have been abit longer than just now..
But at the end of the day, the spectators enjoyed the match..

Here's the scoreline of matches:
Saifullah 1-4 Syahin
Zulkhairi 1-4 Shakir
Zulfakar 4-1 Faizal
Saifuddin 5-0 Muhammad
Yusoff Shah 3-2 Razif

Great to meet these ppl again..
and Abg Ramli, the national senior team coach.. just now
Well, I'll be back in April..
Too bad, gonna miss the chance to go to Vietnam for trials in January..
preparing for S'pore International Open..
since I'm still on course at CDA..
Damn.. but there's always be next time hopefully..

Got my rest today...
Back from 3 day 2 nite silat camp in the afternoon..
Co-organised with 3 other perguruans...
Being the first time experiment...
I could say the camp was a big success..
Hope to see this kind of project in the future..

Got the chance to train with them..
Even though I have been tired after 5 days of training ..
The circuit training was the best one..haha...
Abg Im trademark especially.. ahakz..
All seemed to enjoy the camp..
Not to forget, we the seniors got Abg Im thrown into the sea..
Hahaha..

The camp did bring out the mental and spiritual experience..
to the pesilats.. during the tazkirah and tafaqur session at nite..

Surprise.. Lah..Din..Dinni were there at nite on the 2nd day..
together with their parents..
How happy I was to meet them again..
since I left national team training for NS abt 3 mths back..

Went for a nite walk on that nite.. with my silat bros.. early morning..
Kecoh giler dok.. The fun.. laughter...

Well..one thing for sure...
Rifdi and Haiqal got sabo-ed during the camp..
because..
both celebrated their bdae on 24th and 25th Dec respectively..
Rifdi turned 19 today whereas Haiqal soon turnin 14 tomoro..
To both of u.. all the best in everything u do...
May u all continued to have great success in silat in the future..

A swift comeback

Assalamualaikum ppl..

I'm back again..
Coping with my current life..
The ups and downs...
2 weeks to the end of 2006..
Well.. time passes so fast..

Finally have my peaceful weekend..
To rest... to recharge my batteries for the coming week..

Making a surprise, swift comeback to silat training at Selayang on Fri..
Basically, its just that I miss these trainings much..
Another shocking news is that..
I may be rushed quickly to competitive scene..
Fighting in PERSISI President Cup in late January..
Cik Lan and Abg Im has been asking abt my availability..
One thing is that I'm off to Brunei in early Feb..
the time that the competition supposed to be running on..
I dun mind much if I were to pave way for my other teammates..
As long as I dun trouble my coaches and the team..

Furthermore, to play safe, right after the end of the course..
I plan to go back to competitive scene..
Just in time with my comeback to national training...
Thats where I wud try to give my full blast...

This is my passion...
However, I feel abit bad when I sacrificed something just because of this..
For instance, this comin sat..
Piala Khatulistiwa and my Xmas gathering with YCS peepz at Mrs Cheong house..
Well, how I wish I wud get the chance to go for these two..
But too bad, on the day itself.. I have my Silat Camp organised by my perguruan...
The thing is that I'm really much needed at the camp..

This was not the first time this simlar thing happened..
It happened alot of times, not only within friends but my family too...
I'm not over-exaggerating my passion..
Its just that this thing happened when the time I really had to go for my trainings..
esp. preparing for major comps and doing public performances..

Haha wad to do... every day is 24 hours.. nothin more than dat...

Sorry for the lack of updates on my blog..
Its just that its so tiring after every week of hard training..

it has been 6 weeks into ERSC...
and there's alot of things encountered..
Again the toughness is more on mental...
I do remember what SSG Ridzaidean said..
"No matter you are national athlete..sportsman,,footballer..or what
doesnt mean you are best at everything.."

Probably this is not my way of complaining...
Its just that I'm trying to tell you..
CD is not the slack institution..
Go and try those courses like ERSC..BOC..
And you know how tough is the work..

I'm supposed to blog last nite..
But I'm so busy helping out with touch up cleaning the house..

Just to recap the whole fasting month..
I skipped twice this season..
The 2nd one happened to be yesterday...
When it was the last day of Ramadhan..
Haiz..wasted seh..
To me its a headache to book in on Sun and the bookout the next day..
and thus.. skipped the fast..
When I felt that its better for us to rest at home from Fri..
all the way to Tues/Wed..

Have been looking fwd to clebrate Raya in the best start..
Too bad.. gonna book in tonite, by 1130 pm..

Cant wait for weekends to visit my frenz..cousins..relatives..
Those days that I m able to enjoy raya for now..
since I'm in NS..

Yeah.. I'm back...
Anyone missing me? haha...
Already adapting to this phase of life..
Have been busy with ns life that I totally forgot abt raya..LOL..
One good thing abt ns.. it makes u totally forgot abt..
ur personal problems outside..

Its been great to meet all kinds of people down there..
No need to comment who they are..
But still.. we have our common task..
serving NS...
Really enjoy my ns life there...

Spending just barely a week at BRTC .since 10 oct...
before being posted to ERS..(figure out..peepz)
Well..one week down.. 23 more to go...
before being passed out as someone's highly respectable..ahakz..

Its a big challenge of having NS during fasting month..
esp when u have very vigorous trainings under hot sun..
Unfortunately, I succumbed to the temptation of skipping fast..
on one of the days...
It was in the afternoon and and under my senior advice,
I broke my fast early just like my other Muslim platoon mates..
since I looked so pucat ..red eyes..

Well.. I guess I doin very ok for now...
Hopefully I will be at sumwhere top at the end of 6 mths..
Insyallah..

How fast time flies..

Training still resumes in SSF..
Credits to the staffs there who planned the Ramadhan programme there..
Training.. breaking fast..maghrib and isyak, terawih prayers..
Plus some quick tazkirah in the end..

Spent the weekend helping out in Ramadhan Rocks 2006..
Its been a while since I last helped out in voluntary work..
Once again.. glad to be back...

Happy 41st birthday to Singapore..
May the country continue to prosper to greater heights..

It has been a while since I last updated..
Well.. I guess for now.. I rarely have time to blog...

Made a decision to join the national silat team..
Started training with the team since Monday...
Guess what.. training everyday together with the elite team..

Talking abt national trainings..
its more, more challenging than what people think...
But nevertheless, the more i get used to this tough regime..
I would have no problem handling this after all..
Well... its all about the mentality..
"Mentality biar mau degil..". Yeah..

After all, trainings are meant to be very tough..
to make sure you improve and improve alot for the better next time..

Gonna train very hard.. to fight for a place in the national squad..
for the coming Sijori Silat Championships in Dec...
and other competitions next year..

The finals..

for being the overall champion in PSK 2006..
To Ain.. congrats for doing very well.. 1 gold and 2 bronzes

As for me.. Vast improvement from last year..
At least..I managed myself in the podium.. a bronze...

At least the good send-off before I'm off to NS...

I'm gonna grab that elusive PSK gold next year..Yeah..

First time in my sparring..
My stamina got tested to the limit..

Alhamdulillah...
Reached this year IVP Silat final..
After overcoming two opponents in the weekend..

Saturday match against TP..
The opponent who defeated my team-mate..Taufiq in the earlier round..
Well.. Too over-confident...
Almost killed me off that Abg Im and Cik Lan was very furious after the match...
Lessons learnt... never be too over-confident and underestimating the opponent..

Sunday match..against RP..
This guy is some kind of experienced guy...
The way how he played.. trying to play ard with my mind..
Well..I changed the tempo of the game.. and
He was defeated..

Looking forward to the final this coming Sunday..
Well.. IVP final would be my last competitive fight before going to NS..
Important.. give it to the fullest and go for GOLD!!

Well.. NP qualified for final in 6 categories..
Already assured of one gold in Class F..
courtesy of Ekhsan and Mikail who will be fighting each other in the final..
Apart from me (Class A) and both of them..
the rest were Amri (Class B)..Faizal (Class E)..Ismail(Class I)..Fadhli (Class J)..

Some were unlucky to lose in some circumstances..
Well.. mentioned some of these names who actually can go far to final..
Only that...they were unlucky to lose..

Iman got disqualified in the q-final after controlling the game..
Just 30 secs into the match..

Yazid.. fighting against Hadi.. the experienced Seligi guy..
He was leading in first two rounds..
But succumbed to defeat after running out of steam in 3rd round..
Otherwise, it would be his big upset against experienced guy..

Ephul.. Clear favourite to get gold..
But he was disqualified b4 the match as he was abit overweight..

Ain.. Unlucky to get knocked out in semis..
Well I did watch her game and my opponent's match simultaneously..
Looking from far view.. Ain looks to be okay in 1st round..
Rushed to watch her game from close view after the guys match ended..
Ain fell thru series of sapuan by the opponent in round 2 and 3..
Probably not her day ..furhermore she was injured after the q-final win..

Adi.. controlled the game in the semis..
leading in first 2 rounds against SP...
Its just that in the 3rd round, the opponent knocked him down thrice..
The opponent was smart to play even though he's a newbie..

Well... to those who will be in the finals.. lets go for GOLD...
to those who lost.. dun get disappointed... try again next year..

Another silat comp goin on currently..
IVP Silat @ NYP..
Chances of me getting GOLD?
Yeah.. Look damn great...hehe

Well.. its just that getting a gold in IVP looks a formality...
since I have been on the momentum going thru vigorous trainings
and recently, fighting in recent PSK..
with the experience knowing how to employ tactics in matches...
Yeah..

Well.. I'm proud of the team..
Most pesilats won in the first week..
There are some who lost..
But to give them praises to some.. they deserved it..

This comin weekend... Quarterfinals & Semifinals..
Well.. I'm just hopin to get past these two stages..
and reached the final the following week.. Insyallah..
Well.. this is my swansong IVP..
Since I didn get gold in this year PSK.. bronze instead..
well perhaps the gold in IVP would be at least, the best send-off..
before I'm enlisted soon..

Hopes for a showdown PSK final against Asadullah dashed today..
Lost in the PSK semifinal
against Qudzhar from Persaudaraan Setia Hati..
Yes.. we knowed quite well off the arena..
But we fought like enemies wanting to win..

In the end, it was all back to the drawing board for me..
to rue those missed opportunities again..
Cant be denied.. Qudzhar played aggressively..
Seems that the match looks to go either way..
Cruelty is that.. I seem to win over him in 1st n 3rd round..
But 2nd round.. what happened...?
Looks that there was a fair share of points..
But too bad.. one has to win ..and the other lose..

The day that emotions went wild when I cried after the defeat..
Well.. in sports, I seem to have a big sore loser attitude..
who hates to lose..
No wonder when I myself seems to be so passionate..
Too passionate that when it comes to losing..
Its hard to accept that..

Consolation... bronze medal for myself in this year PSK...
Seems that Grasio will take the gold in Class A again..
But still never write off Qudzhar..
I will make sure that
I'll be back to grab that elusive PSK gold medal one day..

I did watched my other NP silat peepz play today..
Mail.. gave a decent fight against Yusoff Shah..
although Mail comment that Yusoff just give a lil' bit..
One thing.. Mail wasnt treated as rubbish during the match..
You know wat i mean..

Ain... Her match against Saeidah looks very interesting..
No doubt, everybody could guess who win
But it was the way that Ain played...
That gave the run for money..
She's aggressive.. daring...not giving up..
True..She lost...
But still to me..
Ain is still a winner and a great fighter..

Well.. for my Selayang Pandang peepz..
We send small strength squad ...
but still most ppl did well..

The draw looks favourable to me..
Able to avoid asad (grasio) and razil (seligi)..
at least until the final..
it means I stand a very good chance to get into final..

The important thing is.. make great use of this opportunity..
Well.. goin to push all the way beyond limit in trainings...
I wanna banish the worst memories of last year PSK..
So this year presents myself with the chance..

By the time I'm going into my opening match..

Well.. I'm back again..

Have been busy with silat these days..
Especially preparing for PSK..
Time passes by..
I'm getting lighter and lighter..haha.
Going to play in Class A (45-50 kg) again..
Hope to exorcise the ghosts of memories in last year's PSK..
Losing an easy match that I dun even deserved to lose..
I can tell that it was the lowest point ..
ever I faced during my involvement in silat..

Well.. I'm back to deliver the goods ..Insyallah..
Its just that.. I want to end with sumthing great..
before being enlisted for NS later this year..
Yeah.. Aiming for gold in this year PSK..
Goin to push myself all the way beyond limit for glory..

At least I m getting better and better..
when sparring against him..
The national elite who just won Belgium Open..

Nevertheless.. there's still room for improvement..
Time to address the weaknesses...
for them to be improved on before major competitions..

Well.. I have no comments abt the contesting parties..
The main thing is they do fulfil those promises..
when finally elected later..

Back from MSS FOC the weekend..
This year's looked very lepakz..
Nevertheless..I really enjoy the camp..

The fourth one I went since year 1.
People may know that I'm very the quiet type..
Dunnoe that during this year camp.. I looked havoc..
Haha.. well its just that..
I dun wanna grab attention but..
seems that I enjoy this type of outing..
Look back at myself during the MCC AGM.. damn fun..
that I become damn crazy..jumpin here n there..

Went for the NP Silat camp cum retreat at ECP yesterday..
which was soon followed by overnite stay in school..
Did enjoy those few hours with them..
Haha.. Can tell they really had alot of fun n laughter..
Since I was working on daytime..
I could only join them from evening onwards..
Furthermore.. I was the one sleeping early..
since I had to wake up very early for work today

Syukur Alhamdulillah!!
I passed everything!!
Finally the torture, the hardships are over..
Huge relief for me to get out of NP...
And this means..after my attachment, which will end in Aug,
I'm set for NS..

My prayers have been answered...
My hardwork, coupled with the absence from silat training at that time..
did pay off handsomely..
At the same time, the moral support from parents..peepz and lecturers..

True to say..
It has been the hell..pain..suicidal of 3 years..
taking Chemical Engineering course in NP..
From almost giving up...then tussling all the way..
to get the diploma...

Now.. I can just look forward to what I'm doin right now..
My attachment in Jurong Island..
Hope that the best of it will strengthen my credentials..
to get into the chemical or petroleum industry in the future..

Finally I could have much of the rest..
after the 1st week of attachment...
Just woke up today..at 11 plus..
wohhoo..I must be sleeping like a pig..
I have been having insufficient sleep..
silat training.. most of the nites..
LSCT grad dinner.. on Thurs nite (that I end up reaching home very late)..
As usual too.. waking up very early in the morning before 6 am..

Talkin abt LSCT dinner n dance..it was disappointing..
Ask me abt the entertainment.. I give it 3 out of 10..
Yeah the lecturer part was fun but not enuff fun overall..
Making things worse.. Not all my CE (or CBE) lecturers were there..
And my original batch, almost all were missing...

Positive side.. Got to eat lots of food.. 4 plates to be exact..
The food was great....
Snapshots were taken here n there...
And we have few memorable pics..
including some notorious acts by us.. hehehe...
Well its abt making that 60 bucks worth in return..

Another consolation, I was one of the 20 lucky draw winners..
Ist time getting sumthin in a lucky draw..

Talking abt training....
NP Silat training has been so pathetic in terms of attendance..
But still the fun goes on for those who trained on Wed recently...
Sparred with Din.. he gave me a tough fight...
Sparred with Ain.. she gave me a tough fight ( i mean for a gal ah)..
that she ended up knocking me down once during the fight.. (bagus seh..)

Goin into selayang training yesterday..
Ended up sparring with three guys...
Nasrul and Izzat (Those whom I shud have beat up easily..)..
But me ended up performing far below par..
When I sparred against Rifdi.. The game looks much better...
Rifdi has been on the rampage since he train with the national elite team daily..
Nevertheless I gave a decent fight against the person known to attack non-stop..

Two words for you..Sallehan... "TRAIN HARDER"...

Back from MCC AGM '06..
Decided to skip silat training in Kembangan...
Just to have fun and memorable occasion..
with my MCC peepz
Yes .. this was one of the days
that I have been lukin fwd to ink as the memories in my current life..

Credits shud go to the planning commitee ..
who worked hard to put up the big annual fixture in MCC calendar..
The turnout was disappointing... but nevertheless..the atmosphere was damn great...havoc..haha..
How I wished...if the turnout would have been better..
the AGM 06' would be far better than the last year event...

Predictions seemed to go my way for almost all the posts...
Just wanna wish all the best to these ppl..
who are finally being abducted into the new line-up...

President: Ayie (This guy has worked hard enuff in his attempt to reunite the MCCians and bringing the club into the new dimension.. Yes u will surely have my support..)
V-President: Rizal (Just joined less than a year ago but he seems to adapt and click well with the peepz... Should be a good link-up between Ayie and the members..)
Secretary: Fattanah (She was absent just now but watever it is, she got the job..)
Treasurer: Illya (Not surprising if she's voted again... Her presence shud be influential for the juniors, given her active commitment to the club...)
Programme Manager: Fana (She has the potential to go better.. only hoped that she would be strong enuff to fend off anybody who want to "step over" her head..)
Programme Officer: Amalina (Both fana n her certainly make the best combination working in this line... Hope that they can sustain the momentum from where they have started..)
Head of Dikir (Guys) : Rahim ( Surprise inclusion..he himself couldnt believe it..)
Head of Dikir (Gals) : Yaty (She's a vocal individual..confident leader who can rally around her peepz in the team)
Head of Drama: Norazah (One of the surviving members in drama team till now... The big challenge awaiting her would be reviving back the drama team that has been too lightweight..)
Head of Dance: Fazli (Another absentee tonite.. But I'm not surprised with the result... Faz has the ability..the external experience would give him the edge)
Logistic Manager: Tina (My adik!! Keke..She likes spending her free time in the clubhouse..so not surprising!!)

Just wanna wish the new committee all the best in their working year...
The sense of optimism in these ppl that they are able to do better ..
in flying the MCC flag as high...together with the members itself...

Surprised to see the turnout yesterday
Ard 60+...
How I wish if the turnout were like this week in n out...
I could understand..
Because next month..
there would be 4-team friendly tournament..
This month.. selection period...
Gonna play in Class A (45-50 kg) category again..
Talk abt it.. I could not afford to skip any trainings on Fri and Sat especially...
Last Friday, I did not attend since I had something on in sch...

Surprise...
Encik Lan has been asking me where am I..
When I had been attending most trainings including last week..
I could understand his question...
Perhaps I should be proud of it..
He regards me much as the key regular in the team..
that when u skip training once, he will ask u why and why..

Gonna train hard..improve better than this...
I'm goin to make sure that my credentials as a fighter not dampened again..
just like in the past.. when I lost in the last year National Championships match..
that I lost the respect from few ppl..dampening my reputation..
I'm back here to make amends...
Even though this is just friendly tournament...

Finally.. My common test is over.. today...
Commenting on my 2 papers.. not that hard..
Optimism rising in myself that I can at least.. pass them..

Another series of test awaits me..
NAPFA test on 16th jan..(Gonna strike gold..yeah)
Basic Theory test..two days later..

Got recalled to tag along with my MCC peepz recently..
to prepare for xcapade performance at Ngee Ann City this sat..
Initially.. not looking fwd to perform..
Has been long time since I last performed for MCC or active with them..
But knowing that I had been so close to these peepz..
I finally opted to come back to perform..
And.. I'm gonna be the "so-called key player" this sat..
Ahakzz...

Something to look fwd in silat..
Confirmed.. the 4-team friendly mini-tournament this Feb..
Looking forward to that..
Not to forget.. Have to make sure my weight is below 50 kg.
Since I gonna play in Class A..as usual...Hahaha..

Lots of things going to happen early in the new year...

Happy new year to everyone.. Goodbye to 2005 and welcome 2006..
Hoping that the year 2006 will bring more successes to me than 2005..

What a coincidence.. the first day of Zulhijjah falls on the same day as the first day of 2006..

Most ppl must have been spending their nite outside to celebrate the New Year..
Instead, I was away for my silat training in Kembangan..
The training was a good one.. tough one.. Worth coming..
At least I have something fruitful to end my year 2005...

Thanks a lot to my friends for being a driving force behind me...
The support given to me during my difficult times especially...
I wont forget those memories...

Year 2005 has seen lots of ups n downs..
Steppin down as MSS exco brought joy to me at last after the hell i have been thru dere..
Returning to silat arena and committed actively there since then..
Joining a perguruan outside..one big step for me in silat...
More of silat in my life, knowin that I'm the type who needs aggression to fire myself up..
Finally got an A in my core module (my Final year project.. I shud have known it earlier... I guess I'm better off in practical than in theory)
Those were some of the highlights...

Resolutions for 2006:
- Clearing my two modules before going for my attachment..( FYI..I have to repeat few mths since I failed in the second year..WTF!!)
- Triple gold medal target in IVP..President Cup and National Silat Championships..
- Train harder.. and improve for the better in silat.. more aggressive than ever..
- Getting fitter and fitter than ever... Consistent great stamina..
- Getting my driving license...
- Growing taller than currently and always maintaining my weight below 50 kg..
- Getting the first and the last girlfriend? Hmm...wahahahaha...Not yet...Hahaha
- Be a better man!!
- More successes in the future..

To sum up what happened on the Boxing Day..
the class 4E3 went to watch "The Chronicles of Narnia" movie at Jurong Point..
To rate the show.. I will say ok-ok.. Not bad..
Then we had dinner together at Banquet..
Yeah.. Glad to spend time hanging ard with them..
There were fun and laughter along the way..Hahaha..
Especially Nurul, desperate to buy Narnia T-shirt..Hehehe..
Jia Liang has been the targetman.. being attacked by the peepz around..
Somehow..everyone of us is unique in their own way..Yeah..u ppl rox!!

26 Dec 2005 - let us look back at what happened a year ago..
Tsunami incident that shook the world... that led to the misery of the victims..
To think again, feelings of sympathy and sadness really struck me..
realising myself in the way how these unlucky people live on after the tragedy..
We Singaporeans should be lucky enough to live the way we are right now..

Wish you all Merry Christmas..

Time passes damn fast that we will bid farewell to the year 2005..
By the time we enter 2006, I will be having my common test.. Yeah..

For the past week...
Has not spending much time revising...
Studies apart..it has been work and silat...
Started my new job at F&N food factory on Tuesday..
More to the packing and production line...
It has been hard to get the job these days..
I must have been glad to get it at this time...

Yesterday.. silat performance with Selayang Pandang peepz..
at a wedding reception in Tampines..
Again.. performing seni ganda with my ganda partner, Azri..
This time ard.. fighting around with the knife...
It was a well taken performance...
A cool experience... especially me being the one who got attacked most..Haha..
After this.. I should have known how to defend any form of weapon attacks..Yeah

Tomorrow.. goin to spend the Monday with my ex-classmates of 4E3..
Watching the movie..The Chronicles of Narnia..
Looking forward to meet u all there...

No silat training during the weekend... But there were events that keep me happening..

Saturday... went to Ambari's wedding with my former seniors of NP..
Nice to meet these peepz again since they were all serving their NS for now..

Sunday.. went to Mrs Cheong's (my former teacher @ YCS) house in the evening..
Thanks to my former classmates from 4E3
who never fail to initiate this outing every year..
ever since we left behind the sec sch days...
Penny..Peggy..Asri..Ahmad..Esther..Nurul..Siti..Desmond..Zi Xuan..Jia Liang..
They were there..never fail to create fun n laughter there..
Feel close to them..
Going to hang out with them again this comin Friday..
Looking forward to that..

How i wish if I have been very close wif them during my sec sch days...Hmm..
I really regret this ... Been too quiet..shy...no confidence to mix ard...
But there's no point to frust on the past..
The positives.. I'm getting better with them.. The confidence is there...
even though everybody is busy with own things...different line..

Going to start my intensive revision...
As usual.. silat trainings will be there at nite..

Yes..unlike last sem..its hard to see each other these days
since I rarely spent much time in sch...
Talking abt Ain, she has been such a good close friend of mine..
My junior..my sister...and she has this innocent character...
I can tell.. she's one of those ppl that I gonna miss very2 much once I left NP..
Almost the same can be said to my other CBE juniors, Faizal..Azizah..Taufiq...
plus my NP silat frens currently..
The tendency to miss much of the ppl whom I spent with...
in the final days of my life in an institution..

Away in Malaysia since last Friday...
Shud have been a longer stay than this..
Only that I make a swift return to Singapore today..
Feels great to be in vacation..
Firstly, at my grandparents kampung at Pontian, Johor..
Then.. my grand uncle house at Malacca...
Feel stress-free out there....
Going to be alone at home for few days ...
since the rest of my family are still enjoying there...

Went to a wedding reception at Woodlands today...
Kak Nor, my former employer at Pizza Hut BTP, got married..
Congratulations.. Kak Nor... All the best in ur life..
Didn know that her newly-wed husband is a silat exponent too..
from perguruan Kembang Wali... Haha..

For past few days, it has been about silat as usual..
NP Silat training on Wednesday..
Surely to remember for being saboed during the training..
since Tuesday was my 19th birthday.. being splashed and drenched..haha
As usual, training with Selayang Pandang peepz on Friday and Sat..
Learnt alot on seni through the help from my instructors

I'm having a very lepak time table... too flexible.. to say...
Soon, getting a job in Clementi...
Then , in January, probably I may join the national silat team training...
Talking abt silat again..
The national elite team brought back only one gold with numerous silvers and bronzes from the SEA Games...
Pity that Sarhan (my team-mate at Selayang) was eliminated earlier on..
But like what Cik Zul said, everybody walked away as winners..
These people are our champions at home and given the honour in doing Singapore proud..
There's nothin embarrassing to be with despite the setback...
Well done for the efforts to each and everyone of the Singapore Silat team..

Finally turning 19 today on 29th November...
People askin me this...any celebrations out there.. any gifts..treats..
Thruout my life... I'm just happy to live around without these things...
The most important thing when coming to terms with my birthday..
I just wanna thank God for the fact that i'm still alive..
After the 19 years of living...
Sometimes we may not know whether..
we will live on for another day... another week..
another month...another year...Hmmm
What I'm hoping is that another 365 days from today will be better to me..

Having two great outings in the recent weekend... From day till nite...
I dare to call it spectacular...

On 19th Nov (Saturday)..
Went out on Jalan Raya with my MCC peepz...
I may not longer being active in the club but..
Somehow.. I have been in close contact with the peepz there...
It was damn fun.. that we all created havoc here and there..
To my MCC peepz, thanks alot for organising this outing...
Honestly, I enjoyed it...

On 20th Nov (Sunday)..
Day Two of NP Silat Jalan Raya..
The turnout didn change much like the one on last Saturday..
But I have to be proud for taking this initiative to organise this 2-day outing..
that at least gathered the NP pesilats in this festive season..
Yes, this outing was considered last minute build-up and..
initially I wasnt even expected to organise this outing at first place..
But again, satisfaction was always there in me, going out with these close peepz..
To my NP silat peepz out there, thanks for joinin in the jalan raya..
I really appreciate much of your presence on those two days...
Thanks for the fun.. laughter.. joy.. I really enjoy it..

Finally back in NP Silat training..
For this month... Abg Imran and Encik Ramlan will not lead us in the training..
The burden will surely rest on ppl like me, Din, Ekhsan and Amri especially..Hehehehe

Having high level of fitness and stamina gives me the edge..
when handling my team-mates in fitness aspect...
Sorry if I tekan u guys hard in the training...
Not enough with the pain..
It was Ekhsan's turn to handle the technique aspect...
Can't elaborate the torture but on the positive side, skills could be polished up better...
Then, Din took the turn to handle the olahraga (fighting) aspect while...
Amri and Ain took charge of the seni (artistic) aspect...
Series of sparring matches followed up, summing up the whole training...

At the end of the day, it seems that the team enjoyed the training...
especially at times when we missed the expertise of our instructors...
Somehow, in one another, from the support of team-members..
we proved our capability in handling tough training too.. hahaha...

Feel a bit rusty and different when sparring with Din...my usual sparring partner..
The one-month break seems to prove decisive ..
when most team-mates were below par when sparring...
Again, it was the first training since the break..
So, nothing special should be expected..

From my side, I hope that the tough training yesterday will put the team in better shape in weeks to come... starting next training...
Well.. enjoy hanging around with these peepz...

It has been a while since I last updated my entry..
Having a busy weekend...

12 Nov.. NP Silat Jalan Raya (Day 1)
Not up to my expectations..due to last min changes here n there..
However, like most ppl said, I shud be proud of what I've done...
Taking the initiative to organise this..
At least, in one another,..
gathering all the NP pesilats together during the festive occasion..

This comin Sunday..NP Silat Jalan Raya (Day 2)
This time ard, predictions that there will be more ppl than last saturday..

Not to forget, I will be having another great weekend..
when i will be joining my MCC peepz in their jalan raya this comin Sat..
Yes, I have been MIA in that club activities..
but somehow I still remembered this ppl...

Tomorrow.. NP Silat training resumes after a month and a half break..
Nice to be back in training...
Hope that I wont be rusty tomorrow..

It takes those years for me to encounter again the old scenario..
Celebrating raya during my school days..
Looks like my celebrations would be limited..
Hmm...

First day of raya outing was good..
Returning to my hometown in Pontian, Johor..
Balik kampung..oooo.. balik kampung...
Glad to meet my grandparents there...
My uncles..my aunts.. and my cousins..
Feel very close to them ..
Despite staying miles far away from me..

Dressed in the black outfit.. How happy I am to be back in kampung

My grandpa suffered the pain at his hand..
Plus the cough...
But now.. Alhamdulillah.. He's fine...

A bit of disappointment..
Did not get to spent much time there..
since we had to return to Singapore on that day..
Somehow.. the consolation..satisfaction ..was that..
my hopes of balik kampung on first day of raya were fulfilled..

It has been a while since I last updated my entry..
Here u go.. let me recap what happened in the past week..

Monday..
Accompanying my silat peepz, Huda, Hajar and Rahim to Encik Lan's house at Jurong West..
To collect the silat uniform for my juniors...
These few days.. have been encountering rainy weather..
Ended up breaking fast with them, which wasnt planned initially..

Tuesday..
Accompanying my good old friend, Ismail to Peninsula..
Since he planned to buy the laptop adaptor there as I recommended..
He has been worried about the possible expensive cost..
Lucky to him, he only forked out $45 for the adaptor...Yeah..
Took the time off.. walking around the bazaar at Arab Street..
Thank you so much for belanja-ing me a packet of Chicken Briyani..
As the appreciation of helping him.. I guess..
In the end.. during the break-fast meal at home..in the evening..
Found out that it was Mutton Briyani instead.. hahahaha..

Thursday..
Still thinking whether to go out breaking fast with my NP silat peepz in Geylang on that day..
In the end.. made up my mind to go...
The traffic was heavy that I arrived there late ard 7 pm +..
Performed both Maghrib n Isyak prayers at Darul Arqam..
Then.. its hanging out time..
Nothing much to buy.. Instead, "cuci mata" all the way.. Wakakakaka

Friday..
Finally, I could say goodbye to the 6-week CPTC training in Jurong Island..
Alhamdulillah, I passed the training.. Thanks alot to my trainers..
Really miss the fun there...
Experienced lots of things that are different from what is learnt in school..
Well.. these are the experience that you have to apply in the working world..
when working in chemical engineering industry..

Went to Al-Falah Mosque in the evening to attend the "Night of Power" event..
as part of Ramadhan Youth Challenge campaign..
It was all about the awareness on the significance of last 10 days in Ramadhan..
Performed tarawih prayers at night and qiamulail in the early hours in the morning...
Feel so peaceful at heart .. to get close to Allah..
Feel great to meet those Al-falah peepz.. Apai..Wafi..Apit...Haziq..Hidhir and the rest..
Imran (the reigning silat world champion) was there for qiamulail...
Was so surprised by his presence as he happened to sit just behind me during sahur.. Haha
Had a short conversation with him.. Good luck to him and the rest of S'pore silat squad in the coming SEA Games..
Not surprising, I felt so shagged at the end of the event that..
I ended up KO in the bus on the way home.. due to sleepless night..

Counting down the days and its raya time..
Cant wait to go back to my hometown in Johor...

Made a brief return to school yesterday..
This time around.. MCC Iftar..
The turnout wasnt that spectacular..
But most important.. got to meet these peepz again...
Looking forward to the raya outing with them later..

It is the 2nd half of fasting month..
Count these days to the end and its raya time...
So fast.. I don't really feel it...
No wonder, I have no mood to celebrate raya, unlike in the past..
